Fiona and Kevins’ ICSI Journey With Thérapie Fertility 

The path to becoming parents is challenging for a couple who is struggling to get pregnant. Fiona and Kevin began trying for a baby after getting married, but when time started to go by and nothing was happening, they decided to seek help from the experts. After reading Google Reviews, they turned to Thérapie Fertility for help. In this blog post, we share their story of bringing their son Ruadhan into the world, with the help of the team at Thérapie Fertility. 

Meet Fiona and Kevin 

“ My name is Fiona Bolger and this is my husband Kevin. This is our son Ruadhan.” Fiona begins. “He was born last December. We live in Longford.” The couple sit back, as they begin to tell their story. 

Fiona continues to tell us about how their fertility journey began. “I suppose we had been trying naturally for probably almost 12 months or a little bit over 12 months. It wasn't happening naturally, so we contacted Thérapie.” 

Where to start   

Fiona and Kevin decided that they needed some help, and so they began the task of searching for the right clinic. “To be honest, we had googled fertility clinics. Thérapie had probably the best reviews. We had an initial consultation in December 2022. Then we had a consultation with Dr. Megat. I think at that point it was suggested that ICSI would have been, would be the best route for us.” Kevin shared.  

Choosing Your Clinic 

When asked why they chose Thérapie Fertility over other options they may have had, Kevin said “From our first meeting with Dr. Magat, the nurses, to any scan we had, everyone was so welcoming, friendly, supportive, reassuring, especially when it's such a nerve-wracking experience and process.” He went on. “We lived down in Leitrim at the time. So, when we were scheduling our appointments, the portal was great.” 

 Learning that the treatment had been successful is a moment that neither of them will ever forget. Kevin recalled, “Fiona will probably tell you the day we got the message when we found out after the two weeks, I think I spent that whole day crying. The same at the seven-week scan, and every scan.”
