We’re excited to share some big news. Thérapie Fertility is expanding in Northern Ireland.
As of May 2026, we’ve officially acquired a clinic in the heart of Belfast’s docklands. Previously known as In-Ovo Fertility Clinic, the centre will now operate as Thérapie Fertility. This marks an important step in our mission to make fertility care more accessible across Ireland and the UK.
Demand for fertility services in Northern Ireland continues to rise, and this expansion builds on the success of our existing Belfast satellite facility. By bringing In-Ovo into the Thérapie Fertility network, we can now support even more patients who may be facing long NHS waiting lists or the high cost of private treatment.
Our goal remains simple: to provide affordable, evidence-based fertility care that puts patients first.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Diakos, founder of In-Ovo Fertility Clinic, for his collaboration and for laying the groundwork for what will continue to be a trusted service for patients in Belfast and beyond.
Since opening in July 2021, Thérapie Fertility has focused on transforming access to assisted fertility. In just a few years, we have seen significant growth, doubling our treatment cycles since 2022. This highlights the urgent need for more accessible options in fertility care.
Infertility affects 1 in 6 people globally, yet access to treatment remains a challenge for many. In the UK alone, around 55,000 IVF cycles take place each year. However, long waiting lists and strict eligibility criteria mean that many individuals, particularly single people, are unable to access NHS-funded treatment.
As a result, more people are being forced to travel abroad for care.
Our expanded Belfast clinic will help change that.
Patients across Northern Ireland and nearby regions will now have easier access to high-quality fertility services at a significantly lower cost than many other providers, without the need to travel overseas.

Beyond the clinic, we remain committed to opening up the conversation around fertility. Through podcasts, events and social media, we continue to break down stigma and share the real experiences of fertility treatment, including the highs, the lows and everything in between.
Led by Dr. John Kennedy, our expert team provides personalised, compassionate care at every stage of the fertility journey. Our services include IVF, ICSI, egg freezing and reciprocal IVF, with all patients offered a free initial consultation with a fertility nurse.
